Artworks by Meghan Thomas
Exhibition Dates: Thursday December 1 2016 to Saturday January 14 2017
Meghan Thomas translates her background training as a makeup artist and body painter into fine art paintings using airbrush and fluorescent paints which glow under ultraviolet light. Her canvases contain cultural imagery and are inspired by photographs and popular song lyrics. The vibrant hues of fluorescent paint reflect the passion she brings to the social commentary themes within her work and imbue it with a haunting intensity. Meghan says ‘I do art that feeds my soul.
