What could be more romantic than staring at the stars with your date? See the milky way and galaxies with the unaided eye. Point your telescope to find the many dim deep space objects that sprinkle the sky. The Royal Astronomical Society’s members set up telescopes in an open field (1 hour out of Toronto), aim them at celestial objects and let you and your significant other take turns staring at the universe above our heads.

Ice Skating: Natrel Rink at Harbourfront Centre
Set against the beautiful shoreline of Lake Ontario, the city’s most scenic rink awaits! The Natrel Rink has been a date night skating venue in Toronto for 30 years. It has a heated indoor change room with lockers and washrooms. Best of all – skating is FREE! Hot food and drinks are available at the rink-side restaurant, Lakeside Local Bar & Grill. And if you need, you can rent skates and a helmet from the rink staff. The best part is the entry to the rink is free! Skates for adults are $8 for each person.

Mill Street Brewery Tour
Learn how beer is made and get a tutored beer tasting for free! Tours include a guided beer flight tasting, and a sample of Mill Street’s Bierschnaps. Depending on which night you decide to go, you may run into a party dancing to the beats of the Brewery’s own DJ or live music or $5 burger nights. And all this in the cobble stoned streets of the Distillery District.

Boardwalk and Sunset: Ashbridges Bay Park
Ashbridges Bay Park is located in a beautiful area on the waterfront in the east end of Toronto.
